its good to dance to which is v important for me but not OH he keeps asking if we have to dance and as an ex semi pro dancer i think we do

BanburyBride if you are having a live band then could you not rewrite the verses that you dont like and get them to sing the new version, or just take out the verses and leave the chorus in (very easy in a free mixing programme they are everywhere on google) if it has to be rod then just find a song that talks to you and the OH or go and buy every love song and romantic and wedding album ever made and listen to it all (or to be more MSE borrow them from frineds and place a wanted add on freecycle)

We're not 100% decided but at the moment its Higher by Creed OH wanted With arms wide open but that is his song for when I was pregnant/had DS so I told him we need something different (can u tell we r Creed fans!)

My sisters had I Just Called To Say I Love You by Stevie Wonder (after BIL1 vetoed the Grease Megamix) and Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison (BIL2 doesn't like dancing or being the centre of attention so they wanted something everyone would dance to).

Based on my recollections, when I worked in a hotel bar the top three first dance songs were Amazed by Lonestar, You're Still The One by Shania Twain and Rule The World by Take That.

My personal choice if my OH and I were to get married right now would be Everything by Michael Buble or the Smash Mouth version of I'm A Believer.
