in Credit cards
Hi All,
I’ve got a quick question about balance transfers that I was hoping somebody could help me with…
I’ve got two credit cards – I’ll call them Card A and Card B. Card A has £0 on it, and Card B has around £2,000 on it. Both cards have credit limits well above £2,000.
The 0% interest rate on Card B has recently run out, but they’re offering 0% on new balance transfers to the card. The interest rate on Card A is 0%, but only for a short period of time. Would there be anything stopping me transferring the £2,000 balance from Card B to Card A, and then back from Card A to Card B (thus making use of the 0% interest offer on Card
?
I’m aware that there would be a transfer fee payable for each time I transfer the money (in this instance: twice), but apart from that would this be possible? Is there anything that I’ve missed?
Thanks loads for any help!

As long as card A and card B are issued by different financial organisations then yes, you'd be fine. But, as you say, you'll be charged a handling fee for each transfer.0
