I worked on the premise that you would know if you'd been caught up in it, wouldn't you?
The post isn't about unneccesary scaremongering about a situation that happens on only rare occasions, and damaging an otherwise honest trade, it's about trying to locate anybody that has been affected because some action is being taken to recover monies lost.

What about protect others from falling victim to this 'scam'?
My elderly mother is currently looking to book a rental in exactly that area. I'd like to be able to warn her what to look out for...!0 -
