Why are religious nutters always such thickos?

Is it because their tiny, weenie brains cant compute that asking what happens after death is as meaningless as asking what is life before birth?

    Pointless arguing with these sorts.

Which church do you go to ?

    Oh come on.

He smote the Philistines, destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah and turned Lot's wife into salt.

You think he could do better than an economic crisis surely!

Do you ever read posts like the OP's and wonder what thought processes lead them to thinking it would be a good idea to write an OP like that?

I do, and it depresses me greatly.

I suspect it's the Church of the Latterday Determinists. ;)

What's their first Commandment? Oh yeah, "Thou shalt blame no other God but Him,'

Of course in modern parlance that would be "Nuffink we can do guv, it's Him upstairs."

Seems like further validation of the hypothesis:

Religious belief linked to being a dimwit.
In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:

Surely 'blessed are the poor' and 'you cannot be a slave of both God and of money' would imply that being rich isn't good for your soul? Assuming you're coming from a Christian perspective.

Saying 'being who believe in a God(s) are stupid' says more about your intellectual limitations than it does about others
