praise and thanks to ebay.co.uk !

listed an item, bidder with zero feedback bid on my item clearing the reserve price which i thought odd, even odder was the fact they had just registered that day and had zero feedback

i had zero feedback once so i was giving them the benefit of the doubt and send the invoice and request of full address to send the item to, also odd was there was no full address but i was staying positive

this was late last night so i went to bed and checked my ebay in the morning, ebay trust and safety had narued them and cancelled the whole transaction, checked my seller fees which were astronomical so thought i would try for a fvf review and within two minutes i got it, so big thanks to ebay.co.uk, someones on the ball in that office, kudos to you !

im changing my ebay me page to advertise the fact i will no longer be allowing zero feedback buyers to bid on my auctions unless they email me first, making sure they are aware that i am aware i was a zero feedback buyer myself once but someone always has to spoil it for everyone else lol, least i have a phone number ;)

  • The 'customer service' I received from eBay, despite being a customer for 10 years (and having an eBay shop), was so bl***y awful that I vowed never to use them again.
That was 3 years ago and I still haven't used them. To be honest, I haven't even felt the need. EBay definitely isn't what it was; profits got in the way unfortunately.

You can't block zero bidders though unless you block those without a card issued. Merely stating in your listings that you willc ancel their bids won't help if they snipe.

I am also alittle concerned with your line "request of full address to send the item", You shouldn't be asking buyers for their address, the only address that matters and the only one that will keep you safe is the one on the paypal payment page that paypal confirm is 'OK to send to'.
