Whirring/vibrating sound from car - Any ideas?

Sometimes there's no identifiable play. Aalso spin the wheel fast and put your ear next to it to listen for the whirring noise. A slight grinding noise is normal as the brake linings pass over the disc/drum.Pew_Pew_Pew_Lasers! wrote: »What you should do is jack that corner of the car up, and see if there's any play in the wheel.0 -
Would this be the same conclusion you'd come to on a Fiesta ST? Mine makes a similar noise when I hit 35 - stops at 40 - fair enough it stops me speeding (!) but it's driving me mad!0
