I was very upset when my best buddy (the postman) did not show up AT ALL today. No prizes, no winning letters, no bills.... zilch. I miss him. Anybody else miss their postie when he doesn't call or am I just a little strange?

At the moment I'm REALLY missing the lovely tune my phone plays when it rings .. you know when it's ringing because ITV are calling to tell you you've won BIG..

My postie's cheating on me. He hardly ever comes and, when he does, he leaves other peoples mail...

If our postie doesn't turn up at all I'm ready to send out the search party, something must be wrong, am I the only one who has noticed that it's 1.30pm on the dot and he still hasn't arrived?? Do I call round the neighbours to check if they received their post? :rotfl:
I do try to pretend that I'm not bothered when postie arrives, but who am I kidding, hubby can see right through me!Comping wishlist for 2017

I'M married to a postie so if we receive any parcels our postie gives them to my DH. So I am always calling him to see if we have any parcels :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0

Me too! Get withdrawal symptoms he is lightening fast and usually here at 10am,I start getting twitchy if it goes after and he hasn't been!
And yes I look in my neighbours porch to see if they have post and I havent (post envy?!?)
He often gets replaced as I am sure he is the fastest postie in town and in demand! And its never the same having it delivered after 'his time'!:o
When he is AWOL, I think allsorts of conspiracy theories, like we have VERY IMPORTANT WINNING POST that will now NEVER be delivered as Royal Mail cant find a replacement this can go on for days, 13 days (really!) is the longest we went without one scrap of post!
It was torture!
I am not ashamed to say I :heart2: my postie!
(oh and the first question my hubby asks when he gets home is, "Any Post?"!)0
