I received a parking ticket last night for parking in a residents only bay, i thought it was ok as i was there at 10pm but sign said midnight. Ticket is for £100 but reduced to £50 if paid in 14 days. On the ticket it states the colour of the car is blue when it is infact green. All other info is right, can i use this saying the ticket is void?

No, wrong colour does not invalidate a ticket.

Just to be sure, is this a council ticket or a private ticket.

Appeal if its a council one.

If its a private one ignore it, they cant do anything, they are scamming you.
Ignore everything they send, they will eventually give up.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

Its a council one, 12R parking in a residents or shared use parking place or zone without clearly displaying either a permit or voucher or pay and display ticket issued for that place

Post pics of the front & back of the PCN, and of the bays & signs, on pepipoo forums here:

    http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showforum=30

Just blank out your car ID and PCN number but leave other details on the PCN including all small print on the back & all dates & location as well - these can all be reasons to appeal.

Start a new thread there with said pics posted as per their FAQs and stickies (read first!) and ask for their advice on whether they can see some avenues of appeal for you. Most cases can be successfully appealed with pepipoo help.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
