  • I'm not sure of the correct procedure but my Dad regularly travels to Edinburgh or Glasgow and gets on Citylink buses all the time with his concessionary card. Sometimes he books for a £1 and other times he just turns up. I can't see why National Express would be that different. Is it an English concessionary travel card? Does it have different terms and conditions form the Scottish one? I know the Scottish one varies from area to area, e.g if you have a Strathclyde one you get on local trains for £1 but not from areas outwith that. Is there a number you can call to clarify it before sending the ticket back, just to be sure?
