most routers have a section in it which allows blocking of sites containing certain words if you hacve one with that you can just add facebookDrop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -
thanks router would be ideal - can't see anywhere on mine though - it's a Huawei HG520b supplied by TalkTalk, if anyone knows,0

I'd suggest using notepad to change the hosts file as an early port of call too, will only block it for any computer(s) you've amended the hosts file on..... plus if your daughter really tries and manages to undo it she might actually learn something about networking
....in that case round 2 punishments could involve using windows security permissions group settings to let her view but not change back the hosts file and see if she figures that one out

Take her computer off her:idea:0

Use OpenDNS, watch this getting started tutor, you could have fun with the customise section on what to show if a block site is selected:-

she's off the hook anyway for now, but I tried to update the hosts file on her laptop (her userid) but didn't have authority - for future reference, any idea how you change that?
Thanks.0
