Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,

oooooh zippy, lots of ways you could make them Christmassy
i was going to make an iron on transfer for smaller ones
the ones you use for t shirts?
you buy the paper, either black, white or clear
whack it through the printer
voila
i have made my 3 teens loads of t shirts like this (£2 from primark)
make a design on the computer, REALLY easy, both picture & wording, printer, iron, done
or you could use felt
felt is amazing to work with and so easy
get that bondable sewing stuff or fabric glue
fabric paint?
loads of ways
you could also use a pillow case
mary makes santa sacks from red ones
a simple running stitch along the top would make it a drawstring sack
if i hadnt had those sheets doing nothing, i would have used a pillow case0 -

Thanks for the ideas, I was thinking about either using felt (I could just about manage sewing felt on! or the iron on paper........think I will buy the plain sacks from ebay (3 for £12.50 with free p&p)

As in the red/stripey knitted sock type of thing? To be filled and left on the end of the bed? I have the fillers but no stockings :S Does anyone know where I could buy a few of these (that arent £10 like Debenhams are asking for theres
) Please ???
Ps - I cant knit or do anything crafty which would make my own cause I bought all the card making stuff and its gathering dust
Sorry I haven't read your reply's so don't know if someone else has said but I saw some lovely traditional red and white striped stockings in M&S today. I think they were £6 each.0 -
The Hawkins one is the same quality as the 97p one from Wilkinsons :S
Might have to shell out the £10 at Debenhams
I know exactly what I want and the quality that I want just cant find it

I've not got Santa sacks but when I named my kids pre bought Christmas stockings (:o sorry but I don't really "do" sewing
) I bought some sparkly felt from Hobbycraft and a long line of sequins and just drew the individual letters on the felt and cut them out. Glued them to the stocking and then glued the sequins ontop.

Only think I don't like the iron on transfers is they do wear quite quickly (well the ones we've bought do anyway). This is cheap and time to do and requires no sewing :T
Not sure what else you could do to decorate unless you cut out some Christmas shapes from felt so a present shape, holly leaves and circles for berries that sort of thing.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife

This is quite a large one on the Help for Heroes website. The website description says H4H goodies this Christmas! Generously padded and lined inside, it’s made from 100% cotton and measures approx 36” (92 cm) from top to toe and is 11” (28 cms) wide at the top.
