Hello, can anyone give me a basic ipad tutorial.
How does it connect to internet, can I use my existing AOL broadband wireless for access?
What are the other fees, for connecting and do I need to buy anything else to enable me to connect etc.
Thanks.

Wireless connection to your wireless router straight out of the box.
3G connection to mobile phone network requires a contract.
What you buyin? That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
I have just purchased an Ipad 32G and it was delivered today.
Connected to our Wifi router within seconds. You just need the router security number, and you should be away in seconds. Our ISP is O2.
On the ipad, click Settings, WiFi (top left) type in the router security number - this can usually be found on the bottom of the router.

I have a wi-fi only iPad, out and about I connect by wi-fi to my 3G mobile-phone which acts as a wi-fi hot-spot. I couldn't see the point of paying for two SIM contracts.0

if your only going to be using it say at home where you have wifi then wifi only will be fine, if you were going out and want to use either GPS or check your emails on the road then 3G might be good, I thik 3 mobile has data at £10 for 1GB for 30days or £2 for 500MB for 24hrs along with some other rates.
here is apples own tutorial http://www.apple.com/ipad/guided-tours/0 -
