Hi, not sure where to pose this question?
I am flying with easyjet to Switzerland and am wondering if I can take a home baked cake in the hand luggage? Sorry if this is an obvious question, but am really stumped! Can't seem to find the info on the airlines pages and am wondering if I've asked a completely obvious question?

Yes. Cake is only a prohibited item if it contains a concealment of narcotics.0

I had wedding cake flown abroad and also bought cake flown from abroad. Never with problems.
Within EU, don't know whether that makes any difference.0 -

Thats what I thought but Switzerland isn't a member of the EU, but am going to risk it and hope that they let me through or I'll be stuffing my face with baked ricotta cheesecake for breakfast before boarding0 -
Yes you can.
I carried one of those asda cakes, the one where you can have a picture of a photo on it.
Everyone thought that it was funny, including security, i was made up, and then when i got out of the taxi at my final destination, i dropped the flippin cake.......lol0 -

Yes but everyone knows that Asda cakes are cheap and are likely to not contain high quality skunk. The OP is on about making her own homegrown.0 -

Just a thought - baked ricotta? Isn't that dairy, and isn't dairy a different category? Might be worth checking if they will allow the import of dairy into Switzerland. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
