Barclays Misery

I received a letter yesterday from barclays to say that they are closing my account on 1st November but I dont know why my acount has been in credit for ages although have had a few problems with the credit card which is paid through the courts and my loan account has been in dispute for ages with the insurance anyone got any ideas why they would do this ????

I think you just answered your own question. Credit card paid through the courts, and disputed loan? Think that may be why!Debt free and staying that way! :beer:0

Banks are getting nervous these days. Especially with Current Accounts, because whatever O/D facility may or may not be agreed, it is easy for anyone to go over the limits. So they would prefer not to take a risk. You have adequately demonstrated to them that you are a potentiall bad risk.0
