funds held

sold an item on ebay - buyer opened "item not recieved" (sent by hermes! should of known better shouldnt i!)

Anyway, They have now emailed me - They have the item but as it took so long to arrive (a few extra days than expected!) they have gone and brought a different one and want a refund.

Have advised to return item - They are planning on doing so - But the funds are still "held" by ebay - When will they be released so i can issue a refund when its back? Cant get a straight answer from ebay!

Thanks

Tricky one. Advise them to change the case into an SNAD, where they will be able to return the item and Paypal will handle the refund.

  • to be honest ive had a lot of problems with the buyer - Initially they argued for a week over who should pay for the return P&P - even when ebay told them THEY had to pay it they still insisted i paid it!

could i not get the "not recieved" closed?

At this point I'll have to bump the thread to get someone else who's more experienced with Paypal disputes to handle it.
