Hi
Myself and a couple of colleagues are currently in the consultation period of being made redundant. Am trying to put a brave face on it, but a couple of things have made my boil
Firstly, in the initial 'official' meeting, When going through figures that we were entited to if we took redundancy, once he'd run throught hem all, he realised they werent actually my figures, and had actually gone through my colleagues amounts.
Then Ive since found out that both mine and my colleagues pay out letters had been left on a communal printer used by around 80-90 people, no idea how long for, but picked up by one of my other colleagues and put face down on my managers desk. Now obviously neither of these people had a right to see such personal information, let alone, who might have seen them and left them on the printer after reading through them
Is there anything i can do? I'm not getting a huge amount of redundacy from them anyway

What can you do? A complaint internally will just be a complaint. It won't make you get the same amount of redundancy as the person you have seen.
At the end of the day, what harm is it to discuss face to face with the person in question.
At times like this, they will just say ok. Thank you. Bye Bye.Motto: 'If you don't ask, you don't get!!'
Remember to say thank you to people who help you out!
Also, thank you to people who help me out.0
