Failed to buy fruit this week - have a banana and some apples left over so will be having tinned pineapple and ice cream for desert twice during the week! OH wants roast potatoes so have cheated - not OS but bought the Aunt Bessie ones. Anyone tried them?
My parents use them and I quite like them. Not quite the same as proper home made ones but none of us have ever really mastered the art

I really like the frozen roast potatoes. I find Sainsburys own brand nicer than the good branded ones. Also if you defrost them first they taste nicer. It's Britney !!!!!!:T0

Hi all, hope it's ok to join in! We're attempting meal-planning for the first time this week so hoping we can stick to it as the amount of food we have in is ridiculous and we need to start using some up!
Saturday: Beef Stirfry (HM scotch pie and veg for dad)
Sunday: Roast Pork with all the trimmings.
Monday: HM Chicken and Veg Curry (Cottage Pie and veg for dad)
Tuesday: Lamb Chops with pots and veg.
Wednesday: Sausages, Wedges, Beans.
Thursday: 'Mince on the pan' with veg and mash.
Friday: Cod loin, new pots and veg.
Nowhere near as adventurous as others but as you can see, anything that isn't essentially 'meat, spuds and veg' means something has to be cooked seperately for dad so will look to stock up on 'hm readymeals' for him so we can start to experiement a bit more
