Buying an ipod abroad

Might be a daft question but are there any compatibility issues with buying an ipod abroad? My mum and dad are going to America and I see they are cheaper over there. I may ask them to pick one up for me.
Or can you just buy one on the USA ipod store?

Ipods have multi language support, so there won't be any compatibility issues (unless you count the wall charger only having 2 pins).
As for buying from the US store, I'm not sure they would deliver to UK, as they already have the Apple UK store (from which I got a refurb 30Gb video Ipod the other day for £130, and it's spanking).
edit: Just checked. They only deliver to US/Canada.0 -
Nope, no compatibility issues.
The only issue you will have is that the power supply plug will be a US one but you can easily get an adaptor for that.0 -
Be careful, there are a lot of fake iPods about. Some are difficult to tell from the real thing, such as this one.
