NS&I bond maturity - how long to get the money out?

We have a guaranteed growth bond with NS&I which reaches its maturity in about a month (£50k+). We will be using these money for buying a house (for the completion - the difference between paid deposit+mortgage and agree price).
Can anyone share how long it took to receive the money from NS&I? The account matures on November 10th. I would like to complete on the 19th, thinking that if they initiate the payment on 11th, we should receive it by 15th, and then transfer to solicitors by 18th (can use CHAPS if required, but as our account is with FD, solicitors with HSBC, I was hoping to do 3 faster payments to reach the required amount, if we have time - use BACS). Does it sound ok or should we play it safe and go on to complete the following week?
