Sys config without MSCONFIG

Can someone tell me how to get to the sys config utils without running Msconfig from the start folder, please.

I have no letter 'C' on my laptop

Thx

    Using the mouse only:

    Start>Control Panel>Administrative Tools>System Configuration.

i'm sure you can copy the letter 'c' from a document somewhere, and paste it into the run screen

hold down ALT and press 99 on the numeric keypad, then release and it should enter a letter "c" for you.

Wow. didn't know that. Just spent ages playing with that feature. Often wondered where some of those symbold came from too.

Funnily enough, the 'Start>Control Panel>Administrative Tools>System Configuration' didn't work as I dont have the required file with this version of XP, so I had to use suggestion #3, but also found suggestion #2 while hunting around and have the keyboard on my desktop as we speak.

Thanks to all. BUT I have another problem that needs curing and since it is unrelated I will post another thread on this.

It is to do with the display on a Vaio (or lack of it).

Look here for the thread if you feel that you can help.

    Thanks
