Posting a laptop

Does anyone know the cheapest way to send a laptop that's still insured? I don't know where to start. I've had someone tell me they sent one for around £10 but they couldn't remember which courier they used (helpful!), but I've looked at a few and it seems to be working out as at least double that.

You ar eprobably looking at a courier, have you tried the courer thread?
If using Royal Mail it would need to go special and that will be around £21.65 if it is over 2kg packed.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. If its an ebay sale you can use parcelforce which if you pay via paypal is £10.99 up to 30kg. £50 standard insurance but you can up this for a small amount depending on the value of the item.. It's fully tracked with a signature viewable online.0

There are many couriers who would do this for around a tenner, but only through the brokers on the web. I used parcelmonkey a while ago, but check the thread on cheap parcel delivery. It's a long un.0

I used Parcelforce, but someone at the PO Counters stole the laptop before it was collected. They paid up eventually.0

I use ParcelMonkey.com good prices and posted lots of items with them and you should be able to get it posted and insured for well under £10
