Linux Linpus Profile Not Loading.

I have an Acer Aspire One with Linux Linpus. I booted it up yesterday and my profile is not loading. There are no bookmarks and there are no tabs saved on Firefox.
When I go into Files, Mozilla, Firefox, I can see all the details of my bookmarks etc, but how do I get them to load up when I go onto browser?

Thanks, Saz.

    Hi
I'm not familiar with Linux Linpus, but this is how it works with Linux Ubuntu.
    Maybe it's similar.

    Close down Firefox.

    In the monitor enter command:-
    firefox -P

Then a box appears 'Firefox - Choose User Profile'.
So choose the correct profile and click 'Open Firefox'.

Thanks, what do you mean by 'in the monitor enter command' ? There's nowhere to enter any command... Unless this is the difference in Ubuntu and Linpus?

Especially Linpus Lite. I think there is the possibility to unlock the more advanced settings of the Operating System.

Equally, you can install UBUNTU Netbook Edition or Windows XP.

    OK
With Linux there is usually a program with a name such as 'Terminal' or 'Konsole'.
It's where you enter 'command-line' instructions.
So look through the programs in your menu, see if there is the equivalent for Linpus.

    Mine looks like this:-

Alt + F2. Take a look here for the slightly longer winded alternative....or you can refer back to #4. :)

  • Donnie's link does work.

Also look here for lots of other things you can do.

My Linpus Aspire One works well.

Occasionally, it disconnects from the Wifi network. The simplest cure is to put it to sleep and then restart it.
