I have comped for about 4 years and always won every month at least.

Suddenly the past 6 months I have not won a thing.
And now I wonder if they are sick of seeing my name so dont choose me anymore. How do they pick people ? Has anyone else found this ?

Maybe I should start using my maiden name lol.

My works do competitions for customers and ones open to everyone. We use the rendom function in excel to generate a number between 1 and the total number of entries in most competitions x

If you check the terms and conditions of each competition it will state how the winner is chosen, most competitions are random which means they use a random number generator to pick a winner from all entries.

I would imagine with the amount of competitions promotional companies draw your name may well be a drop in the ocean so don't worry that they are avoiding your name hun.

I imagine with the thousands of new compers that have joined in he last six months may be why your wins are far and few between, hope there is a win around the corner for you

If you have facebook you can break your drought by having a go at the Jordans Frusli one, you can win up to 3 bars each week and it does not usually take many goes to win one.

I do know what you mean as when I comped the first time around I noticed my wins dropped off after a while. I changed over to entering email comps for my DH and the wins seemed to pick up again. Probably just a coincidence though.

I'm back to full-time comping after a year off and do think there are a lot more people entering than there was a couple of years ago. You just need to look at the number of people who thank the posts now. There doesn't seem to be quite as many comps now either. I used to come home from work to 15 pages of comps and now there are usually just 10 to get through.

Bet you win something soon though now that you've mentioned it;)
