A glitch means 'a bug in the system/Something happening that isn't supposed to'. It doesn't matter how much you spend!
It's an error on Boots part and one that those of us who have the finances and will to spend that sort of money will thoroughly appreciate.
For me, I managed to save 58% on toys for my kids for christmas. I worked it out to the exact percent and compared everywhere online to make sure I was getting a good bargain. For me, 58% is next to nothing for toys that have no chance of coming down in price before christmas.
As for the girls spending £60 a piece on S+G, do they wanna be my friend too

Maybe she earns a good salary. Maybe her OH does. Maybe she has savings she wants to spend. I'm sorry that not everyone can do that, but you can't be naive enough to believe that no-one can afford £120 on a few presents?!
I personally wouldn't spend that on my friends (on my family I would), but that's my choice, just as it's hers.
and call it a glitch? sorry to be this negative but when i see 'glitch' i expect to get something for next to nothing
Perhaps you mis-understand the meaning of the word. A glitch could be a bad problem in a technical system. It doesn't have to be in the customers' favour - although on the Grabbit board, of course, it would only get posted if it was.
Some people can afford more than others, and if a glitch in the system offers more points, or a higher discount, it's still perfectly okay to post that. There's no 'upper limit' to the bargains that can be posted.
Well spotted, OP - I love the Soap and Glory stuff, but I think I like the brand more than I do the actual products...!
KiKi' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0 -

Guess what I was doing when I found the glitch? And it is a glitch, in points maybe, but a glitch just the same.
I was putting things I would like to buy in the basket, if I had the money, I never thought for a second I would get them today. When the opportunity arose I pounced, then shared it with you.
I was intending getting these items anyway at the Boots xmas shopping evening, it works out about the same.
The only reason I could afford to spend £120 on 3 presents was the fact I was getting so many points (I'm saving them for perfume for my daughters) all the items were on 3 for 2, my budget per gift was around £30 for each one, so thats just about what they cost. But they are getting presents worth £60 instead.
Then Claire21 posted the Lancome deal, that was on my wish list for xmas, but I didn't think for a second I would EVER get them, 4444 points meant I could get them and perfume for myself. My OH gives me £100 every year to get myself something nice.
I've been saving for xmas since February. I had £500 saved and spent £350 of that tonight with £104 back in points. I wont be spending the other £150, I'm going to save another £50, and give two of my daughters a card with £100 each in them, one is a student and the other on mat leave, they are both skint.
I was under the impression that the purpose of this website is to help us manage our finances better, thus enabling us to improve our standard of living, as I've said before I've never spent so little and got so much!1st Purse £114.19 Monthly GB:rotfl::j:wave::j:rotfl:

Thanks very much OP! I needed the next stage up of car seat for my child, which was going to cost £109-£120. I've just bought it from Boots for £112 plus 3354 points back, and paid using Paypal so used some money from things I'd sold on eBay rather than affecting the bank balance.
The £33 worth of points will probably be spent in the January sale, buying presents for next year
Very pleased as the car seat was something I really needed to buy (ok spending it on luxuries would have been more fun but I may treat myself with some of the points and get a luxury too
