ball park compensation figure

I would be grateful if anyone can give me a ball park figure re compensation from Barclays. They have credited £100 to my account as compensation for the following error which they have admitted to:-
Whilst re-negotiating a loan with them Barclays left my current account £8500 overdrawn. The error was rectified four days over their ten day Service Level Agreement to put it right. During that whole period I was inundated with letters and statements that I was overdrawn and my credit rating would be affected despite the fact they were telling me it would be put right. It was very stressful. I could not draw on my account for 14 days and had to borrow money to pay bills. A Direct Debit Insurance payment was also returned which meant I had to pay the outstanding premium directly.
I would be grateful if anyone can advise me what the level of compensation should be. Is £100 enough or is it a tken gesture. Thanks.

More important is the question...how much do YOU think is fair?
What's your financial loss?
How much time have you spent dealing with the situation (charge it at £10/hour)
How much 'distress and inconvenience'* have you suffered? (put a price on it...can you?)
Add 'em up and there's your "compensation" figure. I assume you'd like some 'goodwill' as well? How much would you like?
