What is response time for PPI reclaim?

Options
I sent the forms 1st class recorded delivery as advised, Royal Mail turned out to be useless took them 4 days to deliver (only traveling 10 miles from where i posted it) and there is no ePOD on there web page so have no proof of delivery. What is the standard response time?

Hiya, do you mean you posted out your reclaim?

They have 8 weeks to give a decision, although you may receive a confirmation letter within 2 weeks or so, but they may also ask for more time to investigate due to backlogs.

Hope you receive a good outcome, good luck.

    Hiya

    That is 8 weeks then.

They may write to ask for more time if requested, hope you won't be waiting as long, fingers crossed.;)

    Hi

So the 19 Nov is the deadline to 8 weeks from the time they received it in September.

Not all confirm with acknowledgement letters, but if you receive nothing by the above date, you can chase them up with a follow up letter.;)
