sorry if i am being thick or something, but what exactly is the point in them?
basically in our local area we have a number of estate agents that are all 'team' members so you go to each estate agents website and the properties that are on there are pretty much the same, so why bother having individual estate agents if they have pretty much all got the same properties on?
also what about if you see a property that is marketed by team? can you just pick and choose which EA to go to? what if you have a viewing with one team EA and think they are crap (which happened to us on one viewing), and then view with another team EA which you actually want to use?
i much prefer EA's (oxy moron?) that are fully independent and have there own houses on their books, it just seems really wierd that you have all these different EA's trying to sell pretty much the same properties at the same price.

Typically the properties are not on with multiple agents BUT they get the benefit from pooling resources to create one site. Bit like a mini RightMove.
I'm guessing you are near me (Poole) as I used to use Team a lot.
TBH ... primelocation and Righmove covers it all anyway!0 -
Isnt "Team" Estate agents a franchise?
If it is then theres no point to having a lot of them in a small area, just lots of people wanted to open estate agents and they all choose similar locationsI am a Mortgage Adviser

I don't think Team use Rightmove (but they are on Findaproperty I think). I guess there must be some financial incentive for them? I know that i have to use both RM and FaP, and sometimes Prime location, to "sweep" the areas I'm looking to buy in.0
