    I'd have bought your kid a good portable for £80 or less (if he really needed a tv in his bedroom), kept the Sanyo for the time being and bought something next year.

    Mind you, you probably can afford to spend the cash - if your kid can fit a 28" widescreen in his bedroom as well as fitting in all the other normal bedroom stuff, you must live in a mansion :D
