Yeah wait until after Christmas and there'll be a few bargains to be had. Unless your old telly is really clapped out, wait and save - you know it makes sense0 -

They are a bit slow at sending out warranty,as i still have'nt got mines......going to phone them,as i emailed them to request this,as it does'nt come with telly.....:T It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice. :T"A bargain is something you can't use at a price you can't resist."

mirandamayhem wrote:in fairness we've been waiting for ages for a decent priced lcd or plasma tv so yes we could wait another six months, but you can end up waiting and waiting for a better bargan;). In our case if we did that we'd be buying HDTV in 10 years time when something else has come along to knock the socks off it:rotfl: (iyswim)
But you'll have to get the HD equipment and subscriptions for HD broadcasts and invest in a Blu-Ray or HD-DVD player or one that upscales for DVD, so your investment in HD is gonna be a lot more than just the TV. Plus the format won't be the "norm" for quite a while yet.
If all you want is a flat panel telly, then wait until after Christmas and get them when they're cheap(er)0 -
or hd vmd.....new kid on the block!

It's just a game that Aria play.
