Went and saw the Woolies one in store - damn ugly, not sure why everyone is going mad about it. This looks better but the prices are coming down, I plan on holding off another 6 months or so and I reckon there will be a better choice of quality sets in this price range.

Yeah wait until after Christmas and there'll be a few bargains to be had. Unless your old telly is really clapped out, wait and save - you know it makes sense ;)

It's on again but £433 (+ postage) this time!

I've only noticed it twice but I wonder what the cheapest it has been.

in fairness we've been waiting for ages for a decent priced lcd or plasma tv so yes we could wait another six months, but you can end up waiting and waiting for a better bargan;). In our case if we did that we'd be buying HDTV in 10 years time when something else has come along to knock the socks off it:rotfl: (iyswim)

But you'll have to get the HD equipment and subscriptions for HD broadcasts and invest in a Blu-Ray or HD-DVD player or one that upscales for DVD, so your investment in HD is gonna be a lot more than just the TV. Plus the format won't be the "norm" for quite a while yet.

If all you want is a flat panel telly, then wait until after Christmas and get them when they're cheap(er) ;)

It's just a game that Aria play.
Stock goes down to zero, then they add more. It's a sales trick :D
