Think I know the answer to this already but wish to get OP point of view before I respond.
I had a loan with Black Horse a few years back which had PPI attached attached it.
I believe I was missold this PPI element and have set about a reclaim. However Blackhorse are insisting that I provide them with a signed authority to be sent to them before they can/will correspond with me.
Now my first reaction was no chance as I have seen other threads and am aware of others where signatures have miraculously been scanned and lifted onto other documentation.
Although after thinking about this for a few days, Im of the opinion that if they do lift my signature and put it upon any other documentation that I hadnt orginally signed then this action amounts to fraud and would they seriously risk this ?
What do you think?
As ever answers on a postcards.

            Hi there
 Hope your well.
You could contact the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) for advice on this first, see what they suggest....
 https://www.ico.gov.uk/Global/contact_us.aspx
I would ring them for the quickest methods, due to backlogs of emails they receive, but they should have the correct answers on this one for you, and just to make sure.
Good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di" 0 0

Hi not too bad thank you.
Blimey the ICO are behind! Hope you hear soon though good luck.
Not sure what to think about this to be honest, but am always wary.
I think on another site called CAG (Consumer action group), they have a downloadable link where you can sign but there is no way any company could lift the signature or use it for anything else.
I will see if I can find out more.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di" 0 0

as promised on my above post.
Did come across the link from CAG (Consumer action group), but think this may come with a small charge of £4, but not 100% on this, so if your a member on that site as well make sure with them first.

I know some have said its worthwhile but its up to you.;)
