For goodness sake, is this thread about the OP's question, or mail related pedantry?!!

    well if you want pedant
what will the OP do when they complain to the post office?
  • I may contact the royal mail but then what if nothing happens to her and she knows i've been accusing her.

Maybe I'll say something to her when i see her that if she IS stealing it then she'll know what i'm saying but if not it could just be an observation like pointedly say...

"my parcels STILL haven't turned up. I'm going to make a complaint about it tomorrow if I don't get them" haha :rotfl:

But if she wanted to steal it, why would she even bring it out of the van up to your door? that's what's puzzling me. Maybe she is carrying a parcel she tried to deliver to a neighbour, they were out, she left the card, and is continuing with her round. Or it could be for a neighbour a few doors along. She won't be going back and forth to the van each time with one house's mail, she'll have an armful for the street. Why do you assume the parcel you see is yours?

I see your point but I live in an isolated rural area where there are only 2 neighbours, one of which is a house that belongs to us so she actually does have to go back and forth to the van. It does seem strange she would carry the parcel to the door though. Haha! Maybe shes trying to be suspiciously unsuspicious...:p Anyway your probably right, she probably isn't stealing it.

Maybe i could send some "tester" mail. I could send like a big parcel with a sticker saying "careful electronic goods" or something. Haha :rotfl::rotfl:
