    the meatballs are 500g of mince and 100g corn, seasoned with cumin, garlic, spring onions and bound with 3 slices of bread (soaked in water then broken up) and an egg, then shallow fried.

    Mummygems, my dh got the chicken mince. You can always find it in Asian butchers, but no idea where he bought it on this occasion.
    Thanks for the recipe Rachbc. They sound yummy, so will give them a go. My computer is playing up, so didn't see the recipe before. I made Stephen Leaks' recipe for keema from the turkey mince thread and it was delicious. my husband loved it too, but the kids said it was horrible!!!!
    BTW, i just adapted a recipe for banana muffins and made choc banana ones. They were ok. The kids ate them, which was the whole idea, but I prefer just the normal cho muffin with chunks of dark choc. Made some again yesterday, and they were yummy.

    You've probably eaten it by now, but for others or in future, some sort of chicken kofte? Sorry, I've not got a recipe, but I bet there's one in them there t'internets somewhere.
