Hi
I'm a technophobe, so will be asking a lot of questions in this post about recording onto discs.
I have a Daewoo DF-4100P/4150P/8100P/8150P DVD Recorder + VCR (I don't have all of them, just one, but don't know which one, this is what it says on the front of the User Manual) :rotfl:. I did warn you I was a technophobe!:D
Anyway, I want to get rid of my video's and transfer them onto DVD's. I want to put a few programmes (mainly tennis matches) onto one DVD (not just one programme on one DVD).
Your help would be appreciated, plus anymore information that you think I may need that you think, in your opinion, I have not asked.
Thank you very much

- Which is the cheapest and best value for money disc?
- Do I buy DVD+R, DVD+RW? I don't know the difference between any of them

- Is it like a video where you press the LP or SP button to get the maximum capacity out of your disc?
- Are there different discs that have more capacity than others.
Your help would be appreciated, plus anymore information that you think I may need that you think, in your opinion, I have not asked.

unfortunately it doesn't say how much or how long the discs are i.e. with videos you know that E180 is 3 hours SP and 6 hours LP. Any ideas about discs please?

It tells you in the 'video file comparison' table at the bottom of the page. Look under dvd & hours/dvd.
You will be able to create a dvd upto 5 or 6 hours in length but, obviously to do that the quality will deteriote. It is a bit more complicated than pressing a sp/lp button though and you should really read up as much as you can at the vcdhelp site.0
