I think it is as simple as copying the files from the CD to the hard drive of your PC and then transferring them over using a USB 'thumb' drive.
Now you are going to tell us you haven't a 'thumb' drive....

You can buy an external USB DVD-RW for about £30.
Not the cheapest way, but easy and you can use your current CD's

Yes, use another pc to copy everything from the MS Office CD onto a USB stick. Insert the stick into the notebook and click on the file that's called something like 'setup.exe'). Works fine - I did exactly this last weekend.0

Simple one this...
On the Desktop, open Explorer, right click on the DVD/CD icon and select share and then follow the bouncing ball. Put the CD in the drive.
Second, on the notebook, browse the network, find your desktop and then you'll see the drive letter of the DVD/CD drive you've just shared. Click on that and it'll show the contents. Look for something named setup or similar. Click on that to run it and bobs yer mothers brother.0 -
Obvious question but what operating system do you have on this notebook? if its windows CE forget it.0
