I always enjoy having dinner somewhere at West India Quay near Canary Wharf, because it looks so futuristic around there in the evening - like a scene from Blade Runner.
You should go up to the Meridian line in Greenwich - see the meridian line and get a great view of the city.0 -

Get a boat trip to Greenwich and see the Millenium Dome (O2) and the free gorgeous Naval museum (and if you are lucky Johnny Depp may still be around filming the next Pirates film
) and the Royal Observatory.
Go to the Globe theatre (southwark) for a fiver you can stand in the pit - the best place to see the action actually. Not sure when the season ends though

If you go to Camden and like ice cream I highly recommend cin cin (I think that's how you spell it) they make the ice cream in front of you using liquid nitrogen - yum and fun in a mad scientist kind of way!!!0
