  • Lets face it, whatever they have lost, it is a TINY drop in the ocean compared to their profits.

Why do you say that TescoEmployee must be so proud of Tescos? Was that meant to be tongue in cheek?

At the end of the day, they are a very successful company, so why not be proud of them? Tiny mistakes like this dont mean !!!!!! all. If it was having a big impact on them they would have rectified it straight away.
  • now how do I follow the post above @ 423 LOL ?

I'm planning to go shopping tomorrow, wonder if I will be successful or has this glitch stopped ?

Went to Ipswich Tesco last night bought two Operation games they came up in he till at £9.97 each BOGOF. The label on the shelf was £6.46 each BOGOF. I made a little visit to Custiomer Services and got mty money back and both games for free! Now that's what i call a bargain! :j

LOL - exactly the same thing happened to me today at a store in Bristol.
  • Bought two Buckaroo sets for £9.97 today , no discount. Annoyed as four days ago I picked them up but didnt get them as I really wanted an Operation. I then went back the next day to find nothing. Sales assistant said more stock coming tonight. Went back again following day and told more stock coming few days later. Now no discount. I am going to have a moan.

If anyone doens't mind sending me a scanned copy of their receipt showing the games with the glitch discount i'd appreciate it - to show Customer Services!!

Worth a try but thats almost like saying i saw a 'BOGOF' offer you had last week and its finished but i still want you to let me have the offer except in your case your going to be saying 'You fu*ked up one of your promotions last week and i missed out on getting £20 worth of goods for £3'......

Its worth a try i guess but in my opinion you won't get very far

Ha! So glad I haven't ignored you yet TescoEmployee as I have decided you make me laugh.....

If you work in a store have you not heard of asking CS for a RAINCHECK VOUCHER???????? It does exactly what I have highlighted in bold in your post.

Anyone not heard of them, try asking CS for one next time you see that the BOGOF item you wanted isn't in stock. I believe you can also ask for a 'Clubcard Points IOU' type of Raincheck Voucher, for instance if an item is out of stock but offering something like 900 points for purchasing it, you can have the offer honoured later.

    HTH :o

Im sure all are well aware of the 'rain check' voucher offered by Tesco but i was not answering a question about 'rain check' vouchers but a question about somebody whos seen an offer which was messed up by Tesco for a week and now going back into store to try and claim the offer.

Good luck to her if she manages the games at the error price i just offered up that i didn't think they will go for it as its well documented that Tesco have already lost ££££££££s because of this offer so im sure they are not going to continue to give money away for it now when they don't have too

Well worth a try but they will argue that on-line prices/promotions are different to those in-store (Take CDs for example - Usually cheaper via Tesco.com than in-store)

Just order it on-line and see if the offer still works (Im guessing it will do as they are still advertising it on-line)
