  • Something strange happened when i went to the Ayr store to try this. There were plenty of Operations and Buckaroos, but no SELs showing the offer.
I took 2 of each to the till, but was charged full price for the 4 (2 @ £6.97, 2 @ £6.46 = £26.86) and then 1 lot of £9.97 was deducted, so I had to pay £16.89 for the 4 games.
I took it to customer services to try to sort it out, they were very confused, but eventually decided that since their store wasn't advertising the offer, I could either keep the games at that price, or get a refund. I didn't want to pay that much (obviously!) so I gave them back and she scanned them and refunded my card. But the amount refunded to my card was £19.86, so I actually made a £2.97 profit!
Was a bit gutted I didn't the games though!

    While they were trying to work out what was going on, they tried ringing through a few combinations;
2 Buckaroos together - no discount.
2 Operations together - no dicount
1 Buckaroo and 1 Operation - no discount
    2 buckaroos and 2 Operations - £9.97 discount

So watch out if you're going to Ayr and want to try this glitch!

Loads on the shelf in Hatfield - bought two Bucharoos 6.97 each, got £9.97 back (dozing cashier didn't notice).

Put shopping in the car, went back into the store 2 minutes later - ALL GONE!!

Looked out for an MSE watcher with a trolley full but didn't to no avail LOL

So, perhaps they were taken off of the shelves by Tesco?

Has anyone anywhere seen the Monopoly Junior or Cluedo Junior? I've now looked in 4 stores, all selling the others but not these. I'd really like the Monopoly particularly....Got to get the kids working out their own finances as soon as possible!!

Learn from the mistakes of others - you won't live long enough to make them all yourself.

I managed to get 10 games, 3 twister & 7 operations in this offer. Bargain. Thanks so much to OP. Thats the children next 8 birthdays sorted. when you have 4 children & lots of invites it gets very expensive. all stocked up now though.
This was at Hampton, Peterborough, yesterday (sunday)
hope that helps someone. I really wanted the cludo & monopoly but they were nowhere to be seen.
    hugs

Well done, :T , I went in Saturday & they were all gone with the red labels out of stock on. I thought they must have twigged & cleared them, as they are hot on pricing at the minute. Must have restocked though, shame I can't get there until later this week.

    Many thanks to OP.

I went to the Tescos Extra at Sandhurst and there were no notices on the shelves. Spoke to customer services who price checked for me (scanners dont tell you if it is bogoff) and they confirmed that I could buy Buckaroo and any other game as part of the deal.

Then went to the till with my shopping and the games, and it all went through at full price!

Back to cust services who refunded my money

Later in the afternoon I was passing so popped back in and got buckaroo and operation which I knew should work. (got the last buckaroo there) - there were 8 in the morning!

So got the missprice in the end thank you very much but must have spent a good 3/4 of an hour getting it all sorted. Staff didnt have a clue what they were doing!

Oh and they have got rid of the self scanners they had and replaced them with normal tills, so dont know if this is an ominous sign of things to come...

    Hi,
I went to Tesco Extra at Tower park in Poole this morning they had quite a few of the operation and the Buckeroo.
Firstly i bought 2 x operation and some toiletry products and a couple of magazines - they all went through the till and i used some health and beauty vouchers & some other vouchers - discount of £9.97 was deducted for the games so ended up paying just under £5 for the whole lot. This transaction was not quieried by the sa at all.

Then i went back in and got two operations & two buckeroos (& 1 magazine & a pack of sausage rolls) This time the discount for the games was £19.94 - but the sa noticed it and called a supervisor. The supervisor just shrugged her shoulders and said if thats what it scans at let it go through & i'll go and have a look.

Went back in five minutes and later & games were still on shelf but i didn't have the guts to get any more - didn't want to be too greedy anway.

Hope others are still having luck with these as these will really help for xmas pressies:T
    Thanks OP:beer:
And a huge thanks to MR T:rotfl:
