i bought x4 operations yesterday at clifton moor and they went through the till at buy1 get 1 free ie £6.97 for 2.
So was a bit disappointed, not sure if it's worth geting 1 operation and 1 buckaroo instead.

Has anyone else found this - or any tips apppreciated!

Went to brighouse today and all they had left was one operation, so customer service gave me a voucher to get another when it comes back in stock, i know its not as good as getting them both for £4ish but my sister wanted it to so we will be paying £3ish each which is still a bargain.

thanks to the OP.

took Buckaroo and operation to the till and the checkout sergeant major said, "oooh thats not right, thats too cheap"...long story short, she wouldnt accept payment and asked another member of staff to escort me to the CS desk.

on my way i asked the girl(really nice she was)"are you seriously saying you can add money to my scanned price?" she didnt think so.

CS took 3.7 seconds to say "if thats the scanned price thats the price" so i went back to the same checkout sergeant major with the nice girl to pay

she said "well you,ve done well havnt you? you've got the sandwich and nuts for free and a bit more" i said "yea, but then again you have over charged me for my KP nuts, i'll be off to CS for a refund!!" :rotfl:

i didnt goto CS for the refund as they had been really good.

i did however go to the car, pop my stuff in there and head back into the store for more games.

at this point my OH stayed in the car, she was a bit shakey

i got another one of each and was happily heading to the same SM(couldnt wait to see her face)when i saw the girl who had "escorted" me to CS now on a checkout.

i took the games to her and she gave me a rye old smile. "why not" i said, maybe the discount wont come off this team but BOGOF is still a good offer!!

we had a nice chat and she was really nice and said she would miss out on "yet another deal" because her shift only finished when the store closes, and monday would probably see the offer rectified - hope not im back tomorrow

so to sum up, 4 x games for £6.92, so 4 chrimbo pressies sorted(every little helps).

it seems completely the luck of the draw as to how each staff member looks at these, although adding them to a bigger shop would not trigger their suspician i am sure.

Had a look whilst I was in to do food shopping last night and Tesco Cumbernauld still has a few of the Operation and Buckaroo but still no joy on the Cluedo or Monopoly...don't think it looks like anyone's going to get these.

Thanx OP got Operation and Buckaroo for the lovely reduced price, no Cluedo or twister left, but plenty of the afore mentioned left in Lisnagelvin Store, Northern Ireland.

Had no hassle at tills as it was in with my weekly shop:T

I am planning a little Tesco trip at lunchtime and wondered if the glitch was still working.

it was still working last night, maybe if you just brought 2 even if they went through as BOGOF then its still quite good! if the glitch is still working and you wanted more you could always twaddle back over for trip no.2 and stock up!

Noddy and Dora not working anymore in my local although i did get some nuts!!
