I look every day at what is new on the market in last 24 hours and have found it useful when they show the price history along with the new price.
However, I have noticed that something that is coming on as "last 24 hours" does not always show previous prices, treating it like a new listing instead.
Is there any way round this?

No! If a EA re-sites a property then it will have no history to speak of.0

In Rightmove, if you can find out the postcode (you can often work this out from the google map, especially if it has the box for "get directions to" as this opens in a new window with the postcode on it) and then do a search for this postcode and click "show more market activity" at the bottom of the page it will show you what was listed previously for sale in that postcode. This is often the same properties that are showing as new listings if they've been re-marketed (but you can see the old price).0

I found it useful to run off hard copies of anything interesting - rather quaint and old fashioned, but at least the information doesn't disappear into the ether.0
