My 2 year old has just ripped a £5 note in half
Is it sufficient to sellotape it back together, or should i take it into a bank for exchange?
Thanks

I would take it to bank for exchange. Banks like to get damaged notes out of circulation as quickly as possible.0

Lol - I have worked in a bank (on mat leave just now) and you don't even have to have all the pieces of the note to get it exchanged at a bank - there has to be a certain percentage of the note there, something like 75% or slightly more in order to see that it was a complete note and the bank can exchange it for you.
You won't have any problem changing it or just sellotape it together.... BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0
