Derry City is a fantastic shopping , eating and cultural experience.
It is a picturesque and pleasant change from the more well known tourist haunts of Dublin and Belfast.
It has recently been awarded UK City of Culture for 2013
Nearby Donegal, across the border in Eire is worth a visit too.
You can visit it for a 3 day pre Christmas break for only £80.50
