Hi, I'm looking to replace a broken printer and useless scanner with an all-in-one set up.
Does anyone have one of these or can anyone recommend one?
I'd prefer to avoid lexmark, with their expensive cartridges and have had decent stand alone canon and epson printers.
Thanks

i have a hp psc1402, and love it if you get unbranded cartridges through quidco they work out quite cheap0

In my experience the HP PSC range is awesome - and photo print quality is fantastic.0

I've had the HP PSC 750 for around five years, and it's great. Never had any problems although I always buy original cartridges. They are expensive though.0

Lexmark are ok. I have 2 of them and ink catridges are easy enough to refill yourself good site is inktec.com ....easy refill kits with special screws to remove tops of catridges.

we have an epson rx425 printer/scanner/photocopier it does absolutely cracking photos etc and you can get ink cartriges from ebay ( we pay around £40 for 10 sets of 4 colours )
We have had our printer for more than a year so there may be a more up to date model now .Avoid fruit and nuts .You are what you eat:rotfl: :rotfl:

Paid £60 for mine a few months back. Photo printing isn't as good as the HP photo printing. But the scanner is good, as it'll scan straight to the memory cards.
Features (in my own words)
*Built in media card reader, CF, SD etc. etc.
*Wireless, sits on a network
*In built ftp server (you can ftp straight to it)
*Cartridges are cheap
*Scanner is standalone (to .jpgs or straight to .pdf)
Overall, a nice all round cheap little printer.
Can recommend this printer, I have it and I can't fault it.Regards,

Got the Brother DCP-310 CN at the weekend.
Seems to be all the same features as the 340CW but without the wireless.
It is however network compatible.
Was on offer in Staples at £63 and so far cant fault it0
