Don't be daft!
That's why we all go to ICE, PO, MP etc etc0 -
Been through Complaints Team ALOT recently..and even they CANNOT get their facts right on dates, times or anything for that matter..:(
Hi-Ho-Hi-Ho it's off to ICE I go....:)
(Tried the MP for years and he really got us nowhere further than I have with ALL your help on this Forum..:))
bdt1..Remind me again.... did you recommend I try the PO ( and WHO are they???)0 -
They just walked away from my case! As they could not start to look at it. ICE have upheld most of my points in the past, have just started the 3rd investigation!!! So much for the letters of apology from them and the promise to do better!! Really!!0

I have been offered a face to face as they can see assessments are wrong but keep saying it is out of time.0

Parliamentary Ombudsman.
But I believe you have to exhaust every other possibility 1st - ie CSA Complaints, and ICE, before enlisting PO0 -
no, I have been 'misquoted' in my replies, my ex has been allowed to falsify information and taken at his word where as I have had to supply bank statements and DNA samples (well almost!) to prove my case. As of last week I got my MP involved and although wheels started to turn, I am still waiting for my ex to pay his arrears - God I'm still waiting for my ex to pay full stop! Even the chap I have been speaking to is blown away by how badly my case has been 'run'. These people are nothing more than bored call centre workers who don't care if we're paid or not.:(0

Ok, with regard to the 'out of time' assessments, can you tell me, did the CSA inform you of the (incorrect) assessments in writing, soon after the assessments were made? Do you (or they) have any proof you were informed in writing of the new (incorrect) assessments?
Just thinking, in our case an (incorrect) assessment was made in Dec 2007, then CSA backdated this to a further 4 assessments as far as 2004. But they did not write informing us of the 'new' assessment until April 2008. So, by the time we had asked for further evidence as to how they had calculated 2007 decision etc etc, we were out of time (1 month), we appealed just day or so within the 13 month time limit of the 2007 assessment (this was when we had DP File and realised big mistakes CSA had made).
So, as CSA would not change decisions as we also were out of time, CSA Appeals put this to Tribunal to decide whether our case was allowed to be heard by Tribunal. Tribunal decided our case could be heard by Tribunal as it was unclear as to when CSA had actually informed us of the changed (and incorrect) assessment(s).
As you know when our case was eventually heard we won, just means the bailiff visits, CCJ, LO, and charge on our house plus x3 Court visits and time off work was all a waste of time, as well as the phone call from Rae Norris at CSA Enforcement on Christmas Eve asking if we had managed to get the £34,000 we owed PWC, and if not we would get charge and risk losing our home - we of course had the best Christmas ever that year!0 -
I am trying to get across to them and the tribunal effective dates and calculated dates are 2 different things as the money hadn,t been earned at the effective date0
