The AA & LPG Cars

I'm looking at buying a car with a professional certified LPG system installed.

I want to cover the car via the AA Break Down & Parts & Labour Garage cover, i have looked at T&Cs but can see no mention of LPG anywhere and there shut atm for new quotes, does anyone know if they cover LPG cars? thanks

Not sure about AA Break Down & Parts & Labour Garage cover specifically, but have had normal AA break down cover (roadside and relay) with our LPG Zafira (factory fit conversion). Did have to call them out once, no issues at all. If the T&C's don't specifically mention only petrol/derv cars or specifically exclude alternative fuel cars, I'd imagine you'd be fine.

I'm with Greenflag for breakdown cover and they confirmed by email that LPG made no difference to my cover.

Nor does the fact that I therefore do not carry a spare wheel.

just for anyone else reading this in future The AA will cover the car for breakdown but the Parts & Labour cover will not include cover for the LPG system installed if any part of that fails

Which isn't fitted in the factory. They're fitted after factory, pre-delivery.
