Can someone please help me?
My desktop computer running Win XP Pro runs for a while then shuts down and reboots on it's return a windows message says "It has recovered from a serious error"
I have scanned the disc for errors using the windows tool.
This has been going on for a couple of days but today it seems to be doing it more often also another twist is when the computer returns the forum (this one included) password that were save arn't and I have to log back in again.
Can anyone please suggest what is wrong and how I can correct it?

It could be that the computer is overheating, possibly due to fluff blocking airvents, especially on the CPU and fan in side the computer.0

The best way to clean out a dusty pc is with a clean dry paintbrush and an airduster (make sure you unplug the PC first)Beer meter E[.\.......]F0

Don't unplug the PC - just turn the wall socket off. That way it is still earthed just in case you have a nylon carpet
