sonic player problems

hi i am experiencing a problem, i had spy wear on my computer and i had to call dell who i had the computer off to help me delete this. the guy confirmed this had been deleted and downloaded ewido spywear which seems very good. however my problem is i purchased my computer and also at the same time had sonic dvd/cd burner installed i have used this on a few occasions but not since the spywear, i went to use this the other night and it seems to have been delted it says to fix the problem i need to reinstall the soft ware, and it seems to have arose on my partners side of the computer as it says his name followed by document locals temp. I find this very strange and would like to know if anyone has any ideas as to how this could have happened and now to resolve it, i am awaiting the cds from dell to reinstall this hoping this will work however i was hoping someone may be able to help in the mean time thanks in advance.
