I hope this subject is ok here as it's the closest forum to the subject.
I am wondering what peoples thoughts and views are over security of the following versions of email.
Lots of people I know love to use web mail as its less clutter on their PC and removes the worry of virus issues as such.
So is webmail secure or good enough to use for stuff like registering your online shopping shops, ebay and the like.
By webmail I mean services like Gmail / Yahoo etc.
Or is ISP based mail which is downloaded to a mail client like Outlook and Thundrbird a far more secure route to go down.
