Hi, i recently downloaded a CV template and filled it in, unfortunately i still says where the document was from and "CV template" in grey
I can't highlight it, and i think it doesn't appear if i print it out, it's just that i need to upload the CV to a internship application
thanks for any help!

Is this in the header or the footer? If so, click on "view/header and footer and they will open up and grey out the document. Delete the words you don't want and click close on the toolbar that has also opened. You should then find it has gone.0 -
It might be a watermark. This is the the help from Word 2003:
"On the Format menu, point to Background, and then click Printed Watermark.
Click No watermark.
Note If you inserted a watermark into the document header (header and footer: A header, which can consist of text or graphics, appears at the top of every page in a section. A footer appears at the bottom of every page. Headers and footers often contain page numbers, chapter titles, dates, and author names.) and did not use the Printed Watermark dialog box, then you should view the header and manually delete the watermark."
It may be different on earlier versions.Charlie0 -
