Oooh I didn't realise it was going to be that expensive! We would need 10-12 per table and there are 11 tables so I'm looking at £250+ just for the feathers :eek:

Where abouts are you based? There are loads of fabric places that will sell them and craft places

I'd definitely hire them. Try prop hire places not just wedding hire when you google.

Your venue looks fab. I would leave the bench seating as it is - once your tables have linen on and your chair covers too they wouldn't be as noticeable. You can only see the top bits of them once everything's laid out. Unless the table layout would be different? If it is the same I don't think you need a centrepiece on every table anyway.

The venue have pictures up. I might be tempted to ask if they would unscrew them for the evening and allow you to hang some hollywood glam photos? They might say yes you never know!

They'll have no problem with blue tacking them to the glass as it'll come off very easily and not destroy anything!

If you wanted to go very subtle I might be tempted to just use some New York skyline posters?
