Can someone please give me a definitive answer on this
Can you transfer a balance from a Wife's Card where she is the main account holder,
to
A Husband's card, where he is the main account holder
I tried it with my Santander card and because I'm not the main account holder on both it cannot be done,
Yet, I remember Halifax saying that as long as my Wife was an additional card holder on my Halifax account, that it could be done
Is there any set definition for this or does it vary between companies?

Your experience would suggest it varies.stuckupvacant wrote: »Is there any set definition for this or does it vary between companies?
Did you volunteer the information to Santander regarding the name on the other card, or were you specifically asked for it?0

I asked to do a transfer
Gave them to account details and then they asked
'Are you the main account holder' to which I replied no
Do you think I should lie and tell them I am?0

No. I think you should register for online access and make the BT request there instead.stuckupvacant wrote: »Do you think I should lie and tell them I am?
Humans have a tendancy to get it the way!0
